OUR MISSION

The primary mission of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #4938 is to support the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4938 of Edmond, Oklahoma while also supporting the active service members, veterans, their families, and the amazing community that we live in! 
 
The VFW Post #4938 has existed in Edmond since 1945 and is not only one of Edmond's oldest non-profit organizations, but is Edmond's only combat veterans organization as well as the only military and veteran service organization in Edmond with a supporting organization that allows for the family members of active military or veterans to join and also work alongside them. Having an organization that supports the combat veterans of our community, as well as an organization for their families, means that the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Edmond provides the ability for us to provide support for the whole family in a variety of different ways that is meaningful for today's military families. We also work closely with our local city government and other organizations here in Edmond to show further support and pride in the city we exist in.
