The VFW Auxiliary is proud to support and assist Auxiliary members and their immediate family members who are wishing to further their education by pursuing a college degree or career direction at a vocational/technical school!
Each year the VFW Auxiliary awards four (4) $1,000 scholarships, one at each of the four Auxiliary Conferences.
July 1: Application Process Begins.
February 15: All Applications must be sent to VFW National Headquarters.
May 1: Scholarship Recipients are notified.

Who is Eligible to Apply?Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and one of the following:
1. A current VFW Auxiliary Member*
2. Spouse of a current VFW Auxiliary Member*
2. Spouse of a current VFW Auxiliary Member*
3. Son of a current VFW Auxiliary Member*
4. Daughter of a current VFW Auxiliary Member*
The qualifying VFW Auxiliary Member must have been a member for one (1) year by the application submission deadline.
How Can You Apply?
Each applicant must completely fill out the application and provide a brief (no more than 300 words) essay describing their commitment to their goals and how receiving this scholarship will help them in achieving those goals.
