FAQ's

1. Be at least 16 years old
2. Be a citizen of the United States or a United States National
3. Be at least one of the following types of relationships with a Veteran or Active Service Member who is a member of the VFW or is eligible for membership with the VFW:
   
   Husband/Wife
   Widower/Widow
   Father/Mother
   Grandfather/Grandmother
   Son/Daughter
   Grandson/Granddaughter
   Brother/Sister
   

   Step- and adopted parents, children, siblings (and half-siblings), grandparents, and grandchildren are considered the same as biological parents, children, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren and may also join the VFW Auxiliary under their VFW-eligible Veteran.

1. Proof of eligibility
   Please note that proof of eligibility is required for membership and will need to be provided at the time of application. It is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain and provide proof of eligibility.

3. Membership dues

The annual cost of membership dues for our Auxiliary is $25 however all applicants and members have the ability to become Life Members of the Auxiliary which is a one time payment for membership. 

Our Auxiliary meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at 7:00pm. Currently we still meet at 16 E. Campbell St, Edmond, OK 73034 and will continue to meet there while our Post arranges for a new post building to accommodate our growing membership.  

Yes we do! Our Auxiliary wants to ensure that all members can participate as best as they are able to so we always have Zoom available at our meetings. We will also be having recordings of our meetings cataloged online for members to be able to watch and catch up on if they happen to miss a meeting.

Members can bring their children to meetings. We understand that childcare is not always available or an option so children are welcome at meetings so long as meetings are able to still be conducted.
